Legal Assistance
Our mission is to provide access to justice at no cost to qualified low-income residents of Riverside County through legal services, education, and counseling, regardless of residency status. We believe everyone deserves fair treatment under the law, and our goal is to make legal help more accessible to those who may otherwise go without due to financial hardship.
Riverside Legal Aid offers free assistance in a wide range of civil legal matters, including family law, housing, bankruptcy, guardianship, and probate. Our team of dedicated attorneys and trained volunteers provide one-on-one guidance, legal education, and support through court processes. Whether you need help preparing forms, understanding your rights, or navigating a difficult legal situation, we are here to help.
We serve the community through both in-person and remote services across the county, including legal clinics and workshops. Eligibility is based on income, and services are provided in English and Spanish. If you’re unsure whether you qualify or where to begin, we encourage you to reach out—our staff will guide you through the process and help determine the next steps.
